Pensions & Investments will launch a new version of its Internet site, www.pionline.com, next year.
The expanded site, available Jan. 18, will include new and redesigned public pages, as well as separate areas for paid subscribers to P&I, P&I Daily and PIPER, the Pensions & Investments' Performance Evaluation Reports.
New public areas include expanded money manager and pension fund directories and rankings, performance summaries and economic reviews from PIPER. There also will be a new "Discovery" section with more than 700 sites and tools, initial public offering alerts, equity research and daily headlines from P&I reporters nationwide.
Also available will be a 17,000-page index of P&I articles dating from May 1992; P&I paid subscribers will be able to retrieve full-text articles.
Other changes for the Web site include the addition of full daily news briefings for subscribers to P&I; an online version of P&I Daily for paid subscribers to that daily fax letter; and a special access area for PIPER subscribers.
Many of the new pages and features can be viewed now by going to the Web site at www.pionline.com and clicking on the "sneak peek" icon.
