LMI Capital will debut the WorldWide Index Funds, a family of 13 no-load mutual funds, on Sept. 8. State Street Global Advisors will manage them.
The funds will invest in the leading market indexes in 11 countries throughout Europe, Australia and Asia, such as the CAC-40 in France, the Deutsche Aktienindex in Germany and the MIB-30 in Italy.
LMI also will have two funds of funds: the Europe Index Fund will invest in the European country funds in the family in proportion to the relative equity market capitalizations of the countries; the International Index Fund will follow a similar capitalization model, investing in all 11 country funds.
