Milwaukee Deferred Compensation Board will issue an RFP for a custodian later this week.
The RFP is a result of a review of the custodial agreement after the plan's change to trust status, said Gary Brazgel, executive director.
Trustees also decided to increase the contract to five years from a one-year agreement.
The $300 million plan's current custodian, Firstar Bank, is expected to be included in the in-house search.
