San Francisco City and County Retirement System selected six finalists for plan administrator for its $600 million 457 deferred compensation plan. The finalists are Great-West; Aetna; Copeland; Hartford Life; Fidelity Investments; and a State Street Bank/CalPERS alliance. Interviews will be conducted on Aug. 18 and a selection could be made at that time. Watson Wyatt assisted in the selection of finalists.
Jeffrey C. Boucek was appointed vice president of consulting relations, a newly created position, at Mellon Equity Associates. He will be responsible for building the firm's consulting relationships with pension fund managers.
Mr. Boucek was previously a senior consultant and asset consulting practice manager for Towers Perrin. He has not yet been replaced.
