Belmont (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System will interview seven firms later this week in its search for a domestic all-cap growth manager and core bond manager.
On the equity side, Atlanta Capital, Loomis Sayles and William Blair will be interviewed. For the bond portfolios, trustees will meet with Oppenheimer, Loomis Sayles, Standish Ayer and Wellington. Interviews will be July 29 and 30. A decision could be made immediately upon finishing interviews or in a meeting in late August. The size of the new equity portfolio will be $5 million and the funding will come from a rebalancing of assets. The bond portfolio currently managed by Oppenheimer totals $12 million.
New England Pension Consultants is assisting the $42 million fund.
