Boston Partners Asset Management has stopped taking new all-cap premium equity accounts because assets have reached $1 billion in that style. The all-cap strategy was launched in June 1995 and offered only to institutions. The firm also has closed its midcap value equity strategy at $1.5 billion in assets, which has been offered to institutions since May 1995.
Meanwhile, the firm launched the Micro-Cap Value Fund. It will invest primarily in companies with market caps less than $500 million that exhibit strong fundamentals and a catalyst for change that indicates improvement.
