After four years as a duo, the principals of Capital Market Risk Advisors Inc., New York, have brought on a third, Lieng-Seng Wee, to help broaden the scope of the business.
Mr. Wee, previously a managing director for Bankers Trust Co., New York, joins Tanya Styblo Beder and Leslie Rahl, who founded the company in 1994 to offer assistance with derivatives risk management.
Mr. Wee's charge will be to broaden the scope of CMRA's consulting business into strategic-based risk management, which focuses on risk from the corporate perspective.
CMRA has 30 professionals, and is looking to add more, including an investment management specialist to focus on the endowment and foundation community, a derivatives risk specialist, a head of operational risk, and a commodities risk expert.
Also signing on from Bankers Trust is Judy Lee, who was a principal with BT and is a vice president with CMRA.
