Washington & Lee University, Lexington, Va., is boosting its exposure to emerging market stocks from 6% of assets to up to 10% of assets over the next year, said Larry Broomall, CFO of the approximately $340 million endowment.
The fund is doing that by putting money from maturing real estate partnerships into the Morgan Stanley Emerging Markets fund, its existing manager, instead of reinvesting the money in real estate, he said.
