NTN USA Corp., Mount Prospect, Ill., hired DiMeo Schneider as a consultant for its $60 million defined benefit plan. The firm will assist in the selection of mutual funds from sole manager Principal Financial. Previously, pension fund officials selected mutual funds with Principal's assistance, said Bill Hess, benefits manager.
NTN also added seven new options to its $45 million defined contribution plan. Added were: Putnam World Fund, Franklin U.S. Government Securities Fund, three lifestyle funds from Putnam, Principal Small-Cap Growth Fund and Franklin Small-Cap Value Fund. NTN dropped the Prudential Balanced Fund and the Prudential Government Income Fund.
