Alaska Permanent Fund, Juneau, failed in an attempt to get authority to raise its equity allocation above 50%, said Jim Kelly, director-communications.
The Alaska Legislature adjourned with the state Senate failing to act on a bill to permit the fund to raise its equity allocation to 60%. The bill didn't make it out of the state Senate finance committee. The state House, however, had passed the bill 25-14. The Legislature is out of session until January.
