LONDON -- Prudential Corp. PLC is moving its corporate pensions and collective investment units under the Prudential Portfolio Managers umbrella, with about L120 billion ($202 billion) in assets under management.
Rodney Dennis, previous chief investment officer of PPM, now has the title of managing director.
Rodney Baker-Bates has been named managing director of corporate pensions, succeeding Steve Edwards, who has resigned. Mr. Bates is director of finance and information technology at the BBC, London, where he also is a trustee and chairman of the investment committee for the state-owned media company's L6 billion ($10 billion) pension fund.
Steve Cook has been named chief executive of the collective investment unit. He was chief executive of PPM's Australian and New Zealand business. He has been succeeded there by Terry Jay, formerly of Bank of South Australia. All report to Chairman Derek Higgs.
