Mark H. Williamson will succeed Dan J. Hesser as president and CEO of INVESCO Funds Group. Mr. Hesser will remain chairman until his retirement at the end of 1998. Mr. Williamson starts March 9.
Mr. Williamson most recently was chairman and CEO of the mutual fund and brokerage subsidiaries of NationsBank. NationsBank officials did not return calls by press time.
Paula Pretlow and Jennifer Vaccaro joined Montgomery Asset Management in new positions in the institutional client service, sales and marketing division.
Ms. Pretlow will oversee the team responsible for clients in the Western region. She had been a managing director of client service and new business development at Chancellor LGT. Ms. Vaccaro will be in charge of client service and new business development in the Eastern region. She had been a vice president and senior client service and sales associate for Chancellor LGT.
At Chancellor, the duties of both will be dispersed among existing staff
