James J. Biundo, co-managing director of Forstmann-Leff International's private equity group and a prominent figure in the pension industry, died unexpectedly Thursday. Funeral services were held today in Castle Rock, Colo.
Mr. Biundo joined the firm last summer from U S West Investment Management, where he was president.
Jennifer Netterville, CIO for the $9 billion Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana, Baton Rouge, will retire June 30. Ms. Netterville joined the system as an accountant in 1974 and became CIO in 1977. The board of trustees is conducting a search, and plans to name a new CIO before June.
Rochelle Lamm Wallach, president of Strong Advisory Services, resigned to publish a series of marketing and sales books through her company, Lamm Wallach Communications Group. Strong officials used Ms. Wallach's departure to reorganize responsibilities within the company and did not directly replace her
