Stuart Leckie has been named chairman of RCP & Partners (Asia), succeeding Shane Norman, who remains managing director of the money manager rating agency.
Mr. Leckie recently stepped down as chairman of Fidelity Investments in the Asia-Pacific region.
Stewart A. Dier has been named director of fixed income with the $21 billion Pennsylvania State Employes' Retirement System, Harrisburg. He replaces Diane Sterthous, who last year was named director of alternat ive investments for the system.
Mr. Dier was formerly a supervising analyst with the New York City Employees Retirement System, for which he was responsible for managing the fixed-income portfolio. Jon Lukomnik, NYCERS deputy compt roller, said the system is exploring all options regarding a replacement for Mr. Dier.
Donna Terry, former president and CIO at Barnett Capital, is opening a new asset management firm that will manage cash, fixed-income and equity portfolios for institutions and high-net-worth clients.
The yet unnamed firm will be based in Jacksonville, Fla. Ms. Terry's position was eliminated after NationsBank bought Barnett's parent, Barnett Banks.
David W. Price, a Barne tt Capital high-net-worth manager, will join Ms. Terry at the new firm. Positions in the organization are still being established
