Ricki Fulman has joined Pensions & Investments as a New York-based reporter. In addition, Peter James Retzbach, formerly copy desk chief of P&I, has been promoted to graphics editor; Kathy Catrambone has succeeded him on the copy desk.
Ms. Fulman most recently reported on the mutual fund industry at Quick Nikkei News, a subsidiary of the Nikkei of Japan. Before that she was a business reporter at the New York Daily News. She will be a general assignment reporter, covering news of pension funds, money managers and other institutional investors.
Mr. Retzbach is a 10-year veteran of P&I's editorial department. In his new post, he is responsible for the design of every issue of P&I, including the artwork. Previously, he was a copy editor at several Midwestern daily newspapers.
Ms. Catrambone previously was managing editor at Advertising Age International, a sister publication of P&I. Before that, she had been on the adjunct faculty at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and at Columbia College. She also had been executive editor at Press Publications, Elmhurst, Ill.
