Catherine Dixon was named chief counsel of the SEC's division of corporation finance. Ms. Dixon, previously chief of the division's office of mergers and acquisitions, replaced Martin Dunn, who was promoted to senior associate director of disclosure operations, filling the spot vacated by Abigail Arms. Ms. Dixon has not yet been replaced, an SEC spokesman said.
Guy De Froment will join Paribas Asset Management's London office July 1 as head of financial asset management and institutional asset management, a new position. He has been appointed to the executive committee. He had been a managing director at BZW Investment Management, where he has yet to be replaced.
Michael A. Mullaney has joined Boston Partners Asset Management as a partner and portfolio manager on the fixed-income team, a new position. Previously, Mr. Mullaney was a vice president at Putnam Investments, where he served as co-director of quantitative fixed-income and manager of key account portfolios. His duties there have been assumed internally
