Basil J. Schwan, executive director, John R. Long, CIO, and Peter L. Katseff, real estate director, have left the $6.8 billion pension fund of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and National Electrical Contractors Association, Washington.
Messrs. Schwan and Long had their contracts terminated, according to John Graw, trustee. Mr. Graw declined to elaborate. Information on Mr. Katseff was unavailable.
Mr. Schwan declined to comment about his departure. He said he has no immediate position. Mr. Long joined Philip Morris Inc., New York, as director-international benefits, a new position. He reports to Mark Werner, vice president-benefit investments.
Mr. Graw said the fund hired A.T. Kearney Inc. to assist in searching for a replacement for Mr. Schwan. He said the fund would wait until it hires a new executive director before deciding on replacements for the others
