The contract is expected to be awarded by September. The $850 million 457 plan has about 34,000 active participants. T. Rowe Price is the current record keeper and is expected to rebid.
Plymouth County Retirement System, Plymouth, Mass., narrowed its search for a balanced manager to run a $25 million portfolio, said Bill O'Donnell, the Hannah Group consultant who is assisting. Finalists are Aeltus, Boston Co., Brinson Partners, Cutler & Co., Delaware Investment Advisers, Fidelity, Freedom Capital, Harbor Capital, Piper Capital and Putnam. The system, with $254 million in assets, will make a decision this month.
The Boston Water and Sewer Commission pension fund replaced Cambridge Associates with the Hannah Group as its consultant, said Luciano Petriuzziello, deputy director of finance. ``Our contract with Cambridge Associates had expired, and the Hannah Group was the lowest qualified bidder,'' he said. The $40 million fund has 60% in stocks and 40% in bonds. Officials do not anticipate any investment changes, he said.
