Sue Carson was named manager-trust investments with the Public Service Electric & Gas Co., Newark, N.J. She replaces Earl White, who was hired as director of pension administration at Consolidated Edison, New York. Ms. Carson will oversee the company's $4.7 billion pension. Ms. Carson was director of benefit finance for more than eight years at Bell Communications Research prior to joining PSE&G. Her duties were assumed internally by treasury department staff
