CITIZENS UTILITIES CO. Stamford, Conn., is searching for investment options for its $150 million 401(k) plan, said John DiSturco, manager-investments. The plan wants to add an active U.S. small-cap portfolio and an international equity portfolio. The plan is considering serveral providers and options, including a bundled approach Vanguard provides and eqiuty index fund and a bond fund. Other options are an in-house stable value to make a decision by the third quarter and implement the new option by January.
THE NAVAJO NATION Window Rock, Ariz., hired R.V. Kuhns as its consultant, said Martin E. Ashley, accounting manager. The consultant is scheduled to begin performance evaluations for the nation's general, endowment and retirement funds.
The funds have $220 million, according to Nelson's Directory of Plan Sponsors SEI had been the consultant and was included in the RFP
