The Nebraska Investment Council manages an estimated $2.662 billion in defined benefit assets, an increase of 10.9%. The estimate is based on fund assets as of Dec. 31, 1995.
The Nebraska Public Employees' Retirement Systems had $730 million in defined contribution assets, an increase of 10.8%.
