The Investment Committee of the Navajo Nation, Window Rock, Ariz., is looking for a consultant for its general fund.
SEI Capital Resources' contract expired, said Martin Ashley, accounting manager, but it is one of the firms being considered. A finalist list is expected by Jan. 17, with a decision in late February. Six finalists at most will be chosen, he said.
The consultant will be in charge of monitoring performance and conducting asset allocation studies for the nation's general fund, including endowment and retirement fund assets. The fund has a total of $220 million in assets, according to Nelson's Directory of Plan Sponsors.
