MDU Resources Group Inc., Bismarck, N.D., will conduct a major study of its $100 million 401(k) plan's diversification and consider expanding the number of portfolio choices and managers, said Douglas A. Mahowold, assistant treasurer and assistant secretary.
The company is considering whether to hire a consultant to assist it in the study. It could make a decision in February. The study will consider adding new investment options to the plan and searching for new managers.
The plan has several managers and offers five investment options, including company stock.
