Carol W. Proffer will join Crossroads Group Jan. 1 as a managing director for its investment management team, a new position. She was chairman of William M. Mercer Investment Consulting.
At Crossroads, she will be a member of the firm's strategy committee and will market core funds-of-funds private equity offerings.
Her investment consulting duties at Mercer will be divided up among senior consultants
