Clarkson University, Potsdam, N.Y., plans to rebalance its $82 million endowment's asset mix to reduce equities by 10 percentage points, said James D. Fish, comptroller. Equities now make up 85% of the allocation, thanks to the domestic stock market's runup. Proceeds will be allocated to bonds. The changes will be done through a reallocation among its managers; all will be retained. Smith Barney is advising in the reallocation.
