Federated Global Research Corp., the global and international unit of Federated Investors, has launched its first emerging markets fixed-income fund. The Federated International High Income fund invests in securities from developed and emerging markets and is run by Robert M. Kowit, vice president and fixed-income portfolio manager.
The new offering brings to 10 Federated's international/global funds, with assets exceeding $600 million.
The new fund will be sold to bank trust departments as well as retail investors. The approach also will be available through separate accounts and commingled funds.
