Jerry Cook resigned as a trustee for the $15 billion Teamsters, Central States Southeast and Southwest Areas pension fund, Rosemont, Ill. Mr. Cook had been under investigation by a court-appointed special investigator for allegedly funneling more than $30,000 to his wife, while he was a trustee for the Southern Conference of Teamsters Pension Fund, Atlanta.
Mr. Cook and Ronald J. Kubalanza, Central States' executive director, could not be reached for comment.
