New England Investment Cos. reached agreement to acquire Jurika & Voyles for $110 million in cash and units; $95 million will be paid initially, and the other $15 million paid out over three years, contingent on the firm's performance. Jurika & Voyles will remain independent.
Jurika & Voyles, which manages $5 billion in equity, balanced and fixed-income portfolios, will be NEIC's 13th money management unit and will bring its assets to $91 billion.
