Wilshire Associates has acquired Amsterdam-based Triple-A Consulting, giving the California firm a foothold in the budding European pension consulting business. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The purchase gives Wilshire one of Holland's leading asset consultants, Lou ten Cate. Triple-A has eight retainer clients in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The Amsterdam office, which will take on the Wilshire name, will focus on continental Europe, mainly in Holland and Belgium, Mr. ten Cate said.. The firm also will seek consulting relationships in the Nordic countries as well as Germany and France, he said.
Meanwhile, William M. Mercer Klein Haneveld Investment Consulting, The Hague, formed last year from Mercer's merger with Klein Haneveld and Associates B.V., hopes to hire eight consultants and analysts.
