InvestWorks, the money manager information software product launched by RogersCasey for plan sponsors, money managers and small to midsized consultants, began covering mutual funds this month. It is believed to be the first software that compares separate accounts and commingled funds to mutual funds. InvestWorks, now a subsidiary of the merged Barra and RogersCasey, added a database of 5,000 Morningstar-tracked mutual funds.
In August, RogersCasey will launch InvestWorks Pro, a program that enables users to create their own benchmarks, universes and hybrid products; perform risk and tracking analyses; and establish user-defined time periods for all queries, reports and graphs. It also includes a risk-adjusted product rating system. In the fall, the firm plans to roll out Global Style Analyzer software, which will assess ``style drift'' of any product in the database using BARRA analytics.
