    The firm's asset mix for international accounts was 100% equity as of that date; equity assets were committed most heavily to Japan, United Kingdom, Sweden, Netherlands and France.

    As of the same date, its global account asset mix was 30% bonds and 70% currency.

    The firm's active approach is based on a disciplined strategy with active risk management that integrates top-down country and industry allocation with bottom-up stock selection. Fundamental analysis is used.

    The firm runs $2.19 billion of U.S. institutional, tax-exempt assets in options overwriting, currency hedging and global TAA overlay strategies; $522 million of the underlying assets is managed internally.

    The firm uses a top-down country/currency allocation approach based on research conducted by regional specialists. Primary considerations for country and stock selection are earnings growth, valuations and liquidity. Its bond selections emphasize controlled currency and credit risk.
