The $80 million Stetson University endowment fund, Deland, Fla., hired Wilshire Asset Management to run a domestic fixed-income portfolio, said Ann Y. Graham, vice president-finance. Assets came from cash flow and reallocations among existing managers, she said.
The fund assigned Wilshire $10 million for a strategy that seeks to outperform the Lehman Brothers corporate/government bond index, using only Treasury or government-backed securities and without derivatives.
