Ash Williams, executive director of the $54 billion Florida State Board of Administration, Tallahassee, resigned to join Schroder Capital Management as head of operations, said William Bell, chief of management policy for the Florida board.
Barbara Jarriel, chief of fixed income for the board, will be acting executive director, he said. State and fund officials will meet June 13 to decide a course of action, Mr. Bell said.
