Trustees of the $5 billion Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, committed $20 million to the Sentinel Real Estate Fund and $10 million to the Cid Equity Capital V L.P., said CIO Paul Kubinsky.
The commitment to Sentinel is a follow-on to a $25 million investment the board made last year, said Mr. Kubinsky. The fund invests primarily in apartments. Cid is a venture capital partnership that focuses on investments in the Midwest and Ohio, he said.
Both commitments will be funded from cash.
