Sen. Judd Gregg, R-N.H., chairman of the Senate Aging Subcommittee, plans to introduce ``a comprehensive package of legislation'' to fix the financially troubled Social Security system after a series of hearings this year, said Kristin Hyde, his press secretary. Mr. Gregg, who held the first hearing on the system two days ago, intends to hold the next hearing in June. Ms. Hyde said it was too soon to give any specifics of his legislative proposal.
