The $2.8 billion Wyoming Retirement System, Cheyenne, is searching for a full-service consultant, said Harry Wales, finance manager. The system is working with the state department of procurement in accepting proposals, and expects to close the process near the end of May. It hopes to narrow the candidates to four or five finalists, which then will be interviewed. The board could make a hiring decision at its meeting near the end of June.
Segal Advisors, the system's current consultant whose two-year contract is expiring, has been invited to send in a proposal. The system wants a full-service consultant, including assisting in searches, monitoring performance and making asset recommendations.
