The University of Dayton (Ohio), with $180 million of long-term investment funds, is in the final stages of a search for a domestic large-cap value stock manager. Early next month, it will start a search for a large-cap domestic growth stock manager.

Each portfolio will be $1.5 million to $2 million, funded by cash flow.
In addition, the fund hired Conseco Capital Management for a $2 million fixed-income portfolio that is being funded through new cash.
