The $7.2 billion San Francisco City & County Employees' Retirement System has sent out RFPs to nine international small-cap managers for a $31 million portfolio now run by Dunedin, said CEO Clare Murphy.
Dunedin has been bought by Edinburgh Fund Managers.
Responses to the RFP are due back shortly, and the pension fund's staff is to present an analysis to the board April 9. At that time, the board may select a firm or opt to hear presentations from finalists April 30, Ms. Murphy said. Also on April 9, the board is expected to make its selection of U.S. small-cap value managers.
