Clifford Mpare is one money manager who isn't selling his tobacco holdings following Liggett's settlement of a class-action suit. Mr. Mpare, director of investments at NCM Capital Management Group, said tobacco stocks ``look good right now, with attractive p/e ratios. And, (they) pay dividends.'' NCM owns 323,000 shares of Philip Morris. Mr. Mpare said he is concerned about the precedent set in the Liggett settlement, but he believes other tobacco companies would rather fight than settle the legal challenges.
