The American Hospital Association, Chicago, granted exclusive endorsement to VALIC as the single source provider of administration, investment options, compliance and educational materials for sponsored defined contribution plans in more than 5,000 AHA institutions. AHA plan programs include 403(a), 402(b), 401(a) and 457 deferred compensation plans. Under the arrangement, AHA will endorse and market VALIC's 18 investment options, nine of which are managed internally, to AHA employees nationwide. VALIC also will provide educational materials, asset allocation software and retirement planning services.
