Three former executives from Trust Fund Advisors have started a competing money management firm focusing on Taft-Hartley plans. The new company, Sierra Capital Management, will offer equity, fixed-income and balanced management through subadvisory agreements with Jurika & Voyles and PMG Advisors.
Bruce Dereschuk, formerly a TFA vice president, is president of Sierra. John Delissio Jr., formerly a TFA vice president, will be senior vice president. Jim McGuire, formerly a TFA client service executive, will be vice president. At TFA, their duties have been assumed by others, although the firm might hire another West Coast marketer, said Michael Steed, president.
