Robert E. Riley joined Leggat McCall Properties as president and chief executive officer. He replaces Jay H. Walton Jr. and J. Brad Griffith who will become co-chairmen of the company, said Jeanne Yocum, a spokeswoman.
Mr. Riley had been president and chief operating officer of Dreyfus Corp. Christopher Condron replaced Mr. Riley at Dreyfus.
The $9 billion Mississippi Public Employees' Retirement System, Jackson, hired Frank Ready as executive director. Mr. Ready replaces Milton Walker, who resigned in June. Mr. Ready is director of the New Mexico Educational Retirement Board, which has about $3 billion in assets. A board staff member said a search to replace Mr. Ready has begun.
Laura H. Gideon and David F. Bodine were named senior vice presidents in the marketing and sales division of Galliard Capital Management. They will be responsible for marketing the Gailliard's stable value and institutional fixed income products.
Ms. Gideon was previously vice president of American Express Institutional Services, where she was replaced by Fred Conley, who recently joined from Wells Fargo Institutional Group. Mr. Bodine spent the past three years as a high school mathematics teacher; before that he was vice president and manager of institutional sales for Norwest Bank Minnesota
