NEW YORK - NBC Desktop Video, New York, announced a new service that targets the information needs of sell-side professionals.
NBC's new Private Financial Network-Sell-Side offers 100 chief executive officer interviews each month and coverage of corporate events.
It also provides programming from NBC Professional, which offers live coverage of events that move the securities markets, key government and corporate news conferences, speeches and announcements. NBC Desktop Video adds to its own news services by accessing news from NBC News, NBC News Channel, CNBC Asia, CNBC Europe and Canal de Noticias NBC. NBC Private Financial Network and NBC are both available now via satellite, permitting lower cost delivery.
In October, Private Financial Network included coverage of the New York Society of Security Analysts, the McDonald & Co. Financial Services Investment Conference, Cruttenden Roth's 4th Annual Santa Barbara Growth Stock Conference and the International Corporate Forum's 19th Institutional Investor Conference. It also featured one-on-one interviews with CEOs of Chase Manhattan Bank, Xerox Corp., Unisys Inc., Campbell Soup Co. and 51 others.
