Michael A.B. Orr has joined Xponance as managing director and chief investment officer of the firm's alternatives subsidiary, Xponance Alts Solutions.
Mr. Orr will lead the investment strategy for Xponance Diverse Opportunities Fund LP, reporting to Marquette Chester, senior managing director, head of alternatives, according to a news release.
Mr. Orr was most recently senior vice president and senior client investment officer in the non-profit OCIO practice of Northern Trust Asset Management.
Xponance had approximately $12.1 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
