Steve Moseley joined Wafra as a managing director, a Wafra spokeswoman said.
Mr. Moseley is leading a new co-investment strategy that Wafra is developing.
Mr. Moseley was deputy CIO-private markets and head of alternatives and private markets at the $82.8 billion Alaska Permanent Fund Corp., Juneau.
When Mr. Moseley left at the end of May, Marcus Frampton, APFC's chief investment officer began working with the alternatives and private markets team while the fund searched for a replacement.
Paulyn Swanson, APFC's spokeswoman, could not be immediately reached for information on whether fund officials have selected a new deputy CIO-private markets and head of alternatives and private markets.
