Blair Wallace was named president and CEO of alternative asset manager Vida Capital, the company announced in a news release.
Mr. Wallace replaces President William W. Tice, who is leaving the company "to pursue other opportunities," and CEO Jeffrey R. Serra, who retired from the role, the news release said.
Mr. Serra will remain executive chairman and serve as special adviser to the CEO. Mr. Tice will also serve in an advisory role through the end of the year.
Mr. Wallace was a partner and portfolio manager at Tenor Capital Management. A representative from Tenor Capital confirmed that Mr. Wallace will not be replaced and that his responsibilities have been assumed by the rest of the team.
Stephen Kirkwood, a spokesman for Vida Capital, was not immediately available for comment.
Vida Capital manages $3.6 billion in assets.
