Joe Reid was named managing director and head of marketing and investor relations for the credit strategy at technology-focused private markets manager Vector Capital, a spokeswoman said in an email.
He reports to Nick Ghoussaini, portfolio manager of the credit strategy, and David Baylor, chief operating officer, a spokeswoman said in an email. She would not comment further.
Mr. Reid was managing director of marketing and investor relations at private credit manager Monroe Capital. The firm will seek his replacement within 90 days, said spokeswoman Rachael Cressy.
Vector Capital has about $4 billion in assets under management in private equity and credit strategies.
