Christopher Neill has been named head of institutional sales at alternative credit investment manager Variant Investments, said a news release Feb. 25.
It is a new position. Neill reports to Ryan Warren, director of investor relations.
Neill most recently was head of institutional relationships at Aptus Capital Advisors where he helped introduce a hedged equity solution in an active ETF format to more than 100 institutions, the news release said. An Aptus spokesperson said the firm is handling Neill’s former duties internally.
Based in Portland, Ore., Variant has $3 billion in assets under management.
