Todd B. Sisitsky was named president of TPG, a spokeswoman confirmed in an email Thursday.
The position is new. Effective immediately, Mr. Sisitsky will focus on the firm's investment activities and work closely with CEO Jon Winkelried and the executive leadership team to develop and execute TPG's growth strategy.
Mr. Sisitsky is co-managing partner of TPG Capital and co-head of the platform's health-care investing efforts. He will continue to serve in these roles.

Mr. Trujillo is head of internet, digital media and communications investments, and co-managing partner of TPG Tech Adjacencies along with Mr. Raj.
Messrs. Raj, Rhodes and Trujillo will continue their sector leadership roles.
