Christopher DeLong, chief investment officer at alternative money manager Taconic Capital Advisors, is retiring at the end of the year.
He will be replaced by Frank Brosens, principal and co-founder of Taconic Capital, and Nate Kempner, principal, who will each serve as co-CIO, a news release said Wednesday.
Mr. DeLong has served as a principal at Taconic Capital Advisors since its founding in 1999 and has been CIO since 2013. Mr. Kempner, who also currently serves as co-chairman of the firm's investment committee alongside Mr. Brosens, joined Taconic Capital in 2010 and has been a principal on the North American credit team since 2021.
Taconic Capital Advisors has about $7 billion in assets under management.
A spokeswoman for the firm could not be immediately reached for further information.
